Yes! We paint Cat Portraits!
After a love/hate relation with my computers for about 35 years
I recently picked up my painting gear, here’s a portrait of my first volunteer model!
Meet Poeka (pronounced as ‘Pooka’ in English) she’s Dutch,
the name comes from ‘Poes’, the Dutch word for female cat.)
After her lady-human died at the age of 98, we rescued her from a one way trip to the shelter.
She came here at the age of 10 and as we understand she had a tough life behind her.
The painting shows the way she looks at me when she’s relaxing on my chest. (5.3 kilo)
